Quiénes somos
Our Story
Lolo's is what happens when a family that has always cooked for everybody finally gets its own kitchen on Broadway.
Hecho con amor
Everyone has a Lolo — the one in the family whose kitchen is always going, who feeds you before you've said you're hungry, who measures nothing and gets it right every time. This place is named for ours.
Antojitos are Mexico's street food — the "little cravings" you grab from a stand on the way to work or after a long shift. Tacos, flautas, sopes, tortas. Food made fast but never carelessly, by hands that have made it ten thousand times.
"Si no lo serviríamos en nuestra mesa, no lo servimos aquí."
If we wouldn't serve it at our table, we don't serve it here.
We opened at 795 Broadway because Chelsea is home — and because this neighborhood gets up early. That's why the griddle is hot at 6am on weekdays, when most kitchens are still dark. Hot café de olla, huevos rancheros, a torta for the road.
From antojo — a craving, a whim. Literally: "a little craving." The food you didn't plan to eat but absolutely will.
We're brand new, and we're building this place one plate at a time. Come say hi, tell us what you're craving, and we'll take care of you. Buen provecho.
Lo que nos importa
How we cook
Made when you order it. Nothing waiting around under a lamp.
Family recipes, family hands. The same food we eat ourselves.
Open at 6am because Chelsea works early. This place is for you.
Lo que dice la gente
Your words will go here
We just opened our doors — so we don't have reviews yet, and we won't make any up. Be one of the first: come eat, then tell us (and the neighborhood) what you think.
This spot is saved for one of our first regulars.
